Birth poster with name – Snake's head fritillary, the province flower of Uppland – christening poster – personalized christening gift

Birth poster with snake's head fritillary – the province flower of Uppland in watercolor

Snake's head fritillary (Fritillaria meleagris) is the province flower of Uppland, painted here in soft botanical watercolor. Next to the flower are the baby's name, date of birth, weight, length and place of birth, with the flower's name and its province below the name. The snake's head fritillary is named after Kungsängen in Uppsala, where thousands of flowers bloom every spring. A personal birth poster that connects the child to their home province and becomes a keepsake for life.

Province flowers – a Swedish tradition

Each of Sweden's 25 provinces has its own province flower, and many children learn to recognize them at school. A birth poster with a province flower tells where the child comes from – a lovely gift for a christening, naming day, baby shower or first birthday. You simply fill in the baby's details directly on the product page before adding the poster to your cart.
