DalaStil was born from a love of Swedish design and the timeless simplicity of the classic Dala-inspired patterns. But over time, a new passion grew.

From classroom to workshop

Before I became a business owner, I worked as a primary school teacher. Every day I experienced children's amazing imagination up close. Their drawings were full of little animals, fairy-tale creatures and stories that had no rules – only imagination. I realized that this was where the real magic was.

Our own illustrations – not trendy characters

That is why we deliberately choose not to use trendy movie or cartoon characters. They already have a name, a story and a ready-made personality. Instead, we create our own illustrations.

We want every child to decide for themselves who the character is. Maybe it is a brave bear, a curious fox or a kind little rabbit. The child gets to give it a name, make up its personality and let their imagination continue where our illustration ends.

We believe that imagination is one of the greatest gifts of childhood.

More than decor

For us, our products are not just about decor. A wall clock can be the first step in learning to tell time. A name poster can become a lifelong memory. A poster can spark questions, stories and dreams.

Made in our own workshop

All our designs are created by us from scratch. We design every illustration ourselves and produce our personalized wall clocks in our own workshop – from the first cut of the wood to assembly and the finished product. This way we can control every detail and ensure the quality we want to give our customers.

The children matter most

Still, what matters most to us is not the products. What matters most is the children. We believe that secure, curious and happy children grow into secure, curious and happy adults. If our products can bring a little joy, a little learning and a lot of imagination into a child's everyday life, then we have succeeded in what we set out to create.
